US$ millions unless stated. Haitian fiscal year, October to September. FY2026-27 began October 1, 2026.

Description

CRS immediately responded to the January 12 earthquake with live-saving food, shelter, water and sanitation measures. In June 2010, CRS started development of the next phase in the response and initiated the transition from providing assistance in internally displaced persons (IDP) camps to supporting individuals’ resettlement in neighborhoods of origin. CRS has designed a 30-month, US$ 26,310,506 Community Resettlement and Recovery Program (CRRP) to help at least 25,000 families resettle in communities with integrated shelter, water and sanitation, protection, community infrastructure, and livelihoods solutions. Starting with cash for work and transitional shelter construction in June 2010, other programmatic activities gradually became fully integrated since March 2011 and are already under implementation . The multifaceted CRRP contributes to significantly improve quality
