Social mobilisation in the Cap-Ouanaminthe corridor through radio novelas, Haiti

US$ millions unless stated. Haitian fiscal year, October to September. FY2026-27 began October 1, 2026.

Description

As reinforcement to current projects and to reach a wider audience with a higher impact, Oxfam wants to develop a "radio novella" programme. Through the development of a plot line and characters, it will include the key messages from our various projects (violence against women, cholera, disaster risk reduction, climate change, nutrition and waste management ). This is an effective and innovative way of disseminating messages with an attempt to change behaviour, attitudes and knowledge as people are usually quickly captivated by the stories, characters and begins debates on important issues raised during the series.
