Description
One of the objectives of the disaster risk reduction programme in Haiti is to prepare vulnerable communities against natural disasers. This year with the Top Project funds, seven of the most vulnerable communities in North region will be prepared to develop long -term plan to limit the impacts of disasters, by: -raising awareness on the risks and identifying ways to mitigate their impact -developping family plans -develop action plans and funding strategies for disaster risk reduction commituees -building capacity of the departmental disaster risk reduction committee to respond quickly and effectively
