L’ouragan Matthew est passé en octobre 2016 sur la pointe ouest de Haïti, entraînant des dégâts considérables : environ 1000 morts, destruction de très nombreuses maisons, anéantissement des récoltes, nombreuses pertes de bétail. De nombreuses familles déjà vulnérables ont tout perdu. Le Département du Sud (Les Cayes) a été le plus durement touché, avec celui de Grande Anse (Jérémie). Le Secours Catholique/Caritas France est sollicité par son partenaire historique, la Caritas Diocésaine des Cayes, pour un programme d’aide à des familles sinist
