Description
This project focuses on supporting Haitians who have been expelled from the Dominican Republic, who are often deported under conditions that violate human rights and arrive in Haiti without any means of support. They are provided with temporary accommodation and receive psychosocial care. They also receive support in obtaining documents and travel expenses to return to their home regions. Through training, they are informed about their rights and also receive basic skills to find work or start their own business. The project organizer provides information about the situation of the expelled migrants at the local and international levels and also involves local authorities and decision-makers in order to obtain support for the migrants.
