Description
This project aims to reduce traffic on the national highway that runs through the commune of Carrefour by improving the flow of traffic in and out of Port-au-Prince. It also aims to improve the local economy and safety for the citizens of Carrefour. The project's main components are: construction of one kilometre of road, installation of equipment and facilities over 6.8 km of road (lighting, drainage, traffic signals, and landscaping), construction of a bus terminal, and related studies. This project is one of two parts of a $15.5 million contribution. It has been divided for administrative reasons.
