Description
L'Outcome mis en œuvre par EF et ses 5 organisations partenaires, vise à promouvoir auprès des producteurs·trices paysans·nes le développement de l'agroécologie, la valorisation de produits agricoles et le travail de plaidoyer auprès des décideurs·euses politiques, dans une perspective de renforcer la souveraineté alimentaire et une agriculture durable et respectueuse de l’environnement. L’objectif est d’améliorer le bien-être social et économique des ménages de producteurs·trices paysans·nes et leur permettre d’avoir une plus grande autonomie. Tout d’abord pour la production et la consommation d’aliments sains, via des formations en techniques agroécologiques. Ensuite, au niveau économique, par la commercialisation des produits de l’agriculture et à travers la mise en place et/ou le renforcement d’entreprises sociales et solidaires. de producteurs·trices paysans·nes afin qu’elles soient renforcées dans leurs capacités d’accompagnement des ménages ruraux. L’objectif est également que ces organisations s’organisent et se mettent en réseau afin de faire un travail de plaidoyer politique en matière d'agroécologie et de souveraineté alimentaire et influencent les politiques publiques favorables aux revendications des communautés. L’intervention a également pour objectif de défendre le droit d’accès à la terre des producteurs·trices paysans·nes, notamment vis-à-vis des cas d’accaparement de terres, et de faciliter la sécurisation foncière. Le programme sera réalisé dans les régions du Nord, Nord-Est, Artibonite et Ouest, en partenariat avec 5 organisations partenaires. EF fait le choix de collaborer directement avec des organisations partenaires locales, à travers une coordination locale sur place, dans l’esprit que le développement est une dynamique principalement endogène.
