Full Description
The 2023 Humanitarian Needs Overview for Haiti, published March 2023 and consolidated by OCHA for the Humanitarian Country Team. It quantifies needs by sector and geography for the annual program cycle, in a year when gang control of parts of Port-au-Prince was displacing people within the capital and catastrophic food insecurity appeared in the IPC classification for the first time at scale. The HNO is the analytical half of the humanitarian program cycle, the Response Plan being the operational half.
