Prepared by MENFP's Directorate of Planning and External Cooperation (DPCE), this 110-page register is one of ten departmental volumes produced from the 2024-2025 school census, the first data collection in nine years. Entries are grouped by the four arrondissements of Hinche, Mirebalais, Lascahobas and Cerca-la-Source, then by commune (13 in all, from Hinche and Maïssade to Savanette and Thomassique), communal section or town, and public or non-public sector. Each school has a 12-digit identification code: six digits for location, one for sector (1 public, 2 non-public) and five for the school number. Levels are coded 1 for preschool, 2 for fundamental and 3 for secondary. Public schools are named with the prefix "École nationale" for fundamental and "Lycée" for secondary. The forewords by Minister Augustin Antoine and the director general give national census totals.
