Haiti - Response Overview, January 2020

Summary: FAO response overview brief reporting 3.7 million people facing severe acute food insecurity as of the October 2019 IPC analysis, of whom 2.8 million live in rural areas, and 65,530 children under five suffering from acute malnutrition. It projects 4.1 million people in IPC Phases 3-4 during the March-June 2020 lean season absent intervention, and sets out a USD 76 million response to support 1.2 million people through seed banks, climate-resilient practices and cash for work.
