- The document carries the official roll of approved parties as at 26 March 2026, with each party's name, initials and status.
- Approval at 282 of 320 is close to universal, so the stage functions as a documentary formality rather than a filter.
The CEP's publication, under article 144 of the electoral decree of 1 December 2025 and the calendar then in execution, of the list of political parties entitled to take part in the coming electoral contests. Of three hundred and twenty parties registered, two hundred and eighty-two were approved, leaving thirty-eight that were not; those parties had until Thursday 2 April 2026 to complete their files with the Council. The list is stated to be posted on the CEP website and its official Facebook and X pages, and the document itself carries the official roll of approved parties as at 26 March 2026, each row giving the party's full name, its initials and its status. The figures are what make this worth keeping. Approval at 282 of 320 is close to universal, so the approval stage functions as a documentary formality rather than a filter, and the roll is a usable census of Haiti's registered party system at the opening of the 2026 cycle. It is dated Pétion-ville, 26 March 2026.
