Registration of parties, groupings and regroupings of political parties, 2 to 12 March 2026

A CEP notice opening the registration of political parties and of groupings and regroupings of parties from 2 to 12 March 2026, under the electoral calendar and articles 143 and following of the electoral decree of 1 December 2025. Official representatives of those political organizations are invited to present themselves at the CEP premises in Pétion-ville with all the documents the decree requires, within the allotted period, between 9am and 4pm. The list of items to submit is stated to be available on the Council's website and on its official Facebook and X pages. The note is dated Pétion-ville, 27 February 2026. It matters as the opening of a sequence rather than as a settled deadline: registration windows for groupings and regroupings were reopened and moved repeatedly through 2026, first under the June decree, then extended to 31 July and postponed to August.
