CEP/DC/061-2526: Progress of the electoral process: 1,285 registration centers and over 628,755 registered voters at September 21, 2026
- 1,285 registration and voting centers (CIV) were operational at September 21, 2026.

Registration began on July 20 and 21, 2026 in nine departments and on July 30 in the West. Five departments have more than 95 percent of their centers working: Grand'Anse 117, Sud-Est 132, Sud 168, Nippes 105 and Nord-Est 104; the West has 148. Sud-Est, Grand'Anse and Nippes have the highest registration rates among voting-age residents, at 16, 15 and 14.5 percent. The 30 structures are 18 parties and 12 groupings, and the lists they submitted total 30,000 members. Online candidate registration, open since August 20, 2026, runs to October 9, 2026. The CEP has recruited and trained 2,853 voter-registry agents (ADRE) and 4,643 electoral security agents (ASE), and on September 17 finished training more than 1,000 electoral-law commissioners and electoral judges in nine departments.
