CEP/DC/037-2526: Nineteen new registration and voting centres open in the Ouest, taking the department to 29

The CEP announces nineteen new registration and voting centres in the Ouest department from Friday 6 August 2026. That takes the department from ten centres, opened the week before, to twenty-nine. The list of the nineteen is annexed to the note itself.

The Council places the openings inside the progressive deployment set by its operational plan, with the stated aims of bringing registration services closer to the population, easing access to the centres and covering the whole of the Ouest department by stages. It repeats the standing request that citizens meeting the conditions of the electoral decree register on the electoral register.
