Training session for prospective Electoral Security Agents, 9 to 11 July 2026

A CEP press note announcing a training session for prospective Electoral Security Agents from 9 to 11 July 2026, as part of preparations for voter registration and the continuation of electoral operations, and presented as a strengthening of the Council's operational apparatus. The sessions were to run on several sites across the departments, and the note carries the tables of sites retained together with the contact details of the departmental electoral bureau representatives to approach for further information. The Grand Nord sites listed are the Lycée National Philippe Guerrier at Cap-Haïtien for the Nord, the Lycée Paul Eugène Magloire at Fort-Liberté for the Nord-Est with a simulation ground at Terrain Dufour, the Lycée du Bicentenaire des Gonaïves for the Artibonite, the Lycée Tertullien Guilbaud at Port-de-Paix for the Nord-Ouest and the Lycée Dumarsais Estimé for the Centre, each with a named BED contact and telephone numbers. The choice of venues is itself informative: the training runs in public lycées, the same school infrastructure the CEP had agreed with the education ministry in May 2026 to mobilize for registration and polling.
