CEP/DC/029-2526: Voter registration opens in the Ouest department, with the ten first centres named

The Ouest department was excluded from the national launch of voter registration on 20 July 2026. This note opens it, in three communes and ten named registration and voting centres.
Five centres are in Pétion-ville: the Lycée national de Pétion-Ville, the École nationale du Guatemala, the École nationale de Meyotte, the École nationale de Frères and the Lycée Benoît Batraville de Laboule 13. Three are in Delmas: the Lycée Horatius Laventure, the Lycée Antoine et Georges Izmery at Petite Place Cazeau and the CASEC office at Silo. Two are in Tabarre: the Lycée Jean-Marie Vincent and the École nationale de Tabarre at Tabarre 25.
The press was invited to cover the official launch at 10:00 on Thursday 30 July 2026 at the Lycée national de Pétion-Ville. The note asks citizens holding a valid Carte d'identification nationale to present themselves at the centres, and states that registration on the electoral register is a condition of voting.
