Ces échanges s’inscrivent dans le cadre du dialogue initié par le CEP avec les acteurs politiques autour des prochaines échéances électorales. Les discussions ont notamment porté sur certaines dispositions jugées litigieuses du Décret électoral, l’indépendance de l’institution électorale, ainsi que sur d’autres questions d’intérêt national relatives à l’organisation des prochaines élections. Les dirigeants de ces deux (2) formations politiques ont exprimé leur souhait de voir se tenir, avant toute publication du calendrier électoral, des consultations élargies réunissant les différentes forces vives de la Nation. Le Conseil électoral provisoire réaffirme sa volonté de renforcer les espaces de dialogue avec l’ensemble des parties prenantes au processus électoral et réitère son engagement à conduire ledit processus de manière inclusive et impartiale, en toute indépendance et transparence.
