PHARES mini-grid transformers

Designed transformer positions across the 50 assessed PHARES sites, each carrying the number of buildings the design assigns to it, and for some sites the rated load, voltage, phase and transformer cost.

Method

Transformer building counts are the aggregation that makes the 87,000 building points unnecessary as a published layer, and 1,626 transformers account for 84,782 of the 87,497 buildings detected: the shortfall is buildings inside a site boundary that the design assigns to no transformer. The upstream ships two schemas whose fields differ by case as well as by set, and only the 351 transformers from the second carry rated load, voltage, phase and cost; reading only the capitalised spelling left a quarter of transformers with no building count at all.
