Population movement distribution and social-connectedness indices.
Method
Meta Movement Distribution Maps, daily mobility by commune showing what share of people stay home or travel 0-10 km, 10-100 km or 100+ km from home, from anonymized Facebook location data. Averaged over the newest window Meta has published and refreshed monthly. Meta covers only communes with enough users, about forty. The color scale is relative, because the stay-home share varies over a narrow range. Click a commune for its breakdown.
