Landslide susceptibility

Landslide-susceptibility surface for Haiti.

Method

Terrain slope computed from SRTM 30m DEM using Google Earth Engine (Terrain.slope). 33,500+ grid cells at ~550m resolution across Haiti where slope >= 8°. Three risk classes: Moderate (8 to 15°), High (15 to 25°), Very High (>25°). Steep slopes correlate with landslide susceptibility, especially during heavy rainfall.
