Method

93,000+ grid cells at ~330m showing built-up surface across 7 epochs (1975, 1990, 2000, 2010, 2015, 2020, 2025). Extracted from JRC Global Human Settlement Layer built-up surface fraction (GHS_BUILT_S) via GEE. Each cell colored by when it first became built-up. Shows 6,245 new cells in 2020 to 2025 alone.
