Humanitarian access-constraint severity by area.
Method
Severity of humanitarian access constraints as rated by the OCHA Access Working Group for UN agencies, international NGOs and local NGOs, round by round on the timeline. Rounds to December 2025 rate communes (COD-AB ADM2) as accessible, constrained or severely constrained. From the January to April 2026 round OCHA rates communal sections (COD-AB ADM3) on a 1 to 4 scale, and only in the departments that round covered; each round is drawn on the boundaries it was rated on, and a unit with no rating was not assessed in that round. OCHA publishes no wording for the 1 to 4 levels, so they are shown by number.
