Labor market — Haiti
Haiti's labour market: joblessness and participation, how many people are in work, the quality of that work, its sectoral structure, and public employment. National surveys are sparse (the last full labour-force survey was 2007), so ILO modelled estimates supply the continuous trend. Nothing here measures pay: there is no wage or earnings series for Haiti.
How to read this: Haiti's last full labour-force survey was the 2007 LFS; the 2012 household survey is the most recent point after it. The continuous lines are the ILO's annual modelled estimates (a cross-country statistical model), the filled markers are survey and census observations, and the open diamonds are national official estimates. The three are shown together but never blended. Modelled rates understate the distress that informality and underemployment hide.
