- Extends MINUSTAH to 15 October 2013 with a military component of up to 6,270 and a police component of up to 2,601.
- Takes note of the conditions-based consolidation plan then being developed under the Special Representative's leadership.
- Encourages MINUSTAH to continue assisting the Government in protecting the civilian population.
- Reaffirms that strengthening the Haitian National Police is central to improving the rule of law in Haiti.
- Asks MINUSTAH to continue strengthening the institutional and operational capacities of the police.
