Coverage The cost of feeding one person for a month on a basic Haitian diet, priced by the Coordination Nationale de la Sécurité Alimentaire, the government's food security agency. The basket is fixed: rice, wheat flour, maize, beans, sugar and vegetable oil, in the quantities that supply 1,870 calories a day.
