Methodology

Worldwide Governance Indicators The World Bank's WGI aggregate more than 30 underlying sources into six governance dimensions, using an unobserved-components model that weights each source by how well it agrees with the others. Household and firm surveys, expert assessments, NGO ratings and commercial risk services all feed in.
