The Haiti Country Opinion Survey Report FY 2021 presents findings from a comprehensive stakeholder assessment of the World Bank Group's work in Haiti. The survey was conducted from May to July 2021 with 930 stakeholders invited and 180 participating (19% response rate). Participants included government officials, parliamentary representatives, ministry departments, project management units, consultants, local governments, bilateral and multilateral agencies, private sector organizations, NGOs, academia, and media representatives.
The survey explored multiple dimensions including overall attitudes toward the WBG, support in development areas, work and engagement on the ground, knowledge and instruments, future role expectations, and communication practices. Results showed significantly higher familiarity levels with the WBG compared to the FY 2018 survey, with weighted means increasing from 6.1 to 7.2. This improved familiarity correlated strongly with ratings of WBG's overall effectiveness and relevance in Haiti's development.
